Dr. Salman Qureshi

Dr Salman Qureshi is a UK-trained Consultant Head & Neck and Neuroradiologist based in the UAE. He completed his medical degree, radiology training, and subspecialty fellowship training in Head & Neck and Neuroradiology in Manchester. He later joined Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Abu Dhabi, during its partnership with Mayo Clinic and is currently based in Dubai.

Previous leadership roles have included Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) Northwest Regional Specialty Adviser, Examiner for the Diploma in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology (DDMFR), member of the UK National Radiology Recruitment Committee, Associate Undergraduate Dean at the University of Manchester, and President of the Imaging Section of Manchester Medical Society.

Within Head & Neck Radiology, his past and present roles include Secretary of the British Society of Head and Neck Imaging (BSHNI), Secretary of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ESHNR), member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Neuroradiology and Head & Neck Scientific Subcommittee, member of the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ASHNR) International Relations Committee, Head & Neck Team Leader for the European Board of Radiology (EBR) Written Evaluation Committee, and Honorary Member of the Indian Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ISHNR). For ESHNR, he has played a key role in developing social media engagement and fostering international collaborations.

Dr Qureshi is the Founder of the Asia Pacific Society of Head and Neck Radiology (APSHNR) and served as First Congress President for its inaugural meeting. Through APSHNR, he has helped establish a new platform for education, collaboration, and research across the Asia-Pacific region.
