Dr Kasturi Nair Tangaraju is a Consultant Clinical Head and Neck Radiologist at the National Cancer Institute (IKN), Putrajaya, Malaysia.
She completed subspecialty fellowship training in Head and Neck Radiology, Neuroimaging and PET CT/MR Oncologic Imaging under the Ministry of Health Malaysia, complemented by advanced training in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Austria.
Her expertise includes head and neck radiology, advanced oncologic imaging, and PET CT/MR imaging. She serves in several national leadership roles, including co-heading the National Cochlear Implant Program, National Neuro-SRS Program, and Oro-Maxillofacial and Head & Neck multidisciplinary teams.
She contributes to structured training and curriculum development in the National Head & Neck Radiology Fellowship Program and Advanced Diploma for radiographers. She is also adjunct lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate students and frequent invited speaker at national and international scientific meetings. Research interests include advanced head and neck oncology and treatment response assessment, perfusion and radiomics in precision cancer care.
